Create Folder

Introduction

This screen allows the customer to create folders in the online vault. These folders can be created only by customers with write access to a parent folder.

Navigation

The following is the navigation for this option:

  • Click the Create button in Manage Folders screen.

  • The Create Folder screen is displayed.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data that must be specified on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Field

Description

Folder Name

Enter the name of the new folder being created under the parent folder.

Note:

  • This is an alphanumeric field which allows 32 characters. However special characters are not allowed in this field.

  • This is a mandatory field, user has to enter the folder name, else appropriate error message is displayed.

  • If the special characters are entered, error message is displayed to the user.

  • If the same folder name exists in the same parent folder name, system would display appropriate error message.

Folder Path

Displays the path of the folder.

View the Preview Confirmation screen.

Note:

On successful confirmation, user gets a successful new folder creation message and also the user will get write access to this new folder.
