Link Bank Account

Introduction

An existing customer of the bank, who is a registered user of Finacle e-Banking can request for adding other accounts into the existing user ID. This will be an offline service request.

Navigation

  • Click Operative Accounts - Link Bank Account link in New Requests screen

  • The Link Bank Account screen is displayed.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data that should be entered on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Field

Description

Account Type

Select the account number from the drop-down.

Following types of accounts can be linked by the user:

  • Credit Card Account

  • Loan Account

  • Savings Account

  • Current Account

  • Overdraft Account

  • Cash Credit Account

  • Term Deposit Account

  • Top Up Deposit Account

Note:

This is a mandatory field. If data is not specified, then an error message “Please select the Account Type” is displayed.

Account Number

Type the account number which has to be linked to the Finacle e-Banking user ID.

Note:

If the user does not enter the account number, then the error message “Please enter the Account Number” is displayed.

If the account selected is already linked to the e-banking user ID then the error message “The provided account number is already linked” is displayed.

If the specified account number is invalid or entered account number and account type doesn’t match, then the error message “Invalid Account Number” is displayed

Branch

Type the branch name where the account is maintained. User can select the branch from the lookup option available.

Note:

If this field is left blank, then the error message “Please select the Branch” is displayed.

Submit to Relationship Manager

Submit the service request to the relationship manager.

Return to the previous screen without saving the changes.
