Application for Gift Card

Introduction

Issuance of Gift Cards is possible using this option. This will be an offline service request.

Navigation

• Click Operative Accounts - Request for Gift Card Issuance link in New Requests screen

• The Application for Gift Card screen is displayed.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data that should be entered on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Field

Description

Application for Gift Card

Select the account number from the drop-down.

Note:

The account drop down will have only the operative accounts

All available operative accounts are as per user request access.

This is a mandatory field. If data is not specified, then an error message “Please select the Account number” is displayed.

Account Balance

Displays the balance of the account selected in the previous field. The balance will be fetched from the backend host system.

Gift Amount

Type the amount to be provided to the Gift Card.

Note:

User cannot type a negative amount or Zero, then an error message "Invalid Amount Entered“ is displayed.

Amount mentioned in this field will not be validated against the account balance.

Fee Charged

Displays the fee being charged for the service request. The fee displayed will be the service charge plus the VAT (%) on the amount. However user will have an option change the same.

Personal Message

Type the message which has to be shared with the receiver of the Gift Card.

Purchaser Details

Mobile Number

Type the mobile number of the purchaser.

Alternate Contact Number

Type the alternative contact number of the purchaser.

Email ID

Type the email ID of the purchaser.

Dispatch Details

Sender Name

Type the name of the person in whose name the Gift Card has to be dispatched. User can type name of the receiver or self.

Note:

If sender name is blank , an error message “ Please enter sender name” is displayed.

Sender Address Line 1-3

Type the address for dispatching the Gift Card.

Note:

This is a mandatory field. If data is not specified, then an error message “Please enter sender address line” is displayed.

City & Zip

Type the name of the city and the zip code.

Note:

If either of the fields is left blank, an error message “Please enter city & zip” is displayed.

State

Type the name of the state.

Note:

If this field is left blank, an error message “Please enter state” is displayed.

Country

Type the name of the country.

Note:

If this field is left blank, an error message “Please enter Country” is displayed.

Receiver Details

Receiver Name

Type the receiver’s name.

Note:

If this field is left blank, an error message “Please enter Receiver name” is displayed

Receiver Address Line 1-3

Type the address of the receiver.

Note:

This is a mandatory field. If data is not specified, then an error message “Please enter receiver address line” is displayed.

City & Zip

Type the name of the city and the zip code.

Note:

If either of the fields is left blank, an error message “Please enter city & zip” is displayed.

State

Type the name of the state.

Note:

If this field is left blank, an error message “Please enter state” is displayed.

Country

Type the name of the country.

Note:

If this field is left blank, an error message “Please enter Country” is displayed.

Receiver Mobile Number

Type the mobile number of the receiver of the Gift card.
