Register Other Bank Account

Introduction

This screen lets the retail users to register for other bank account so as to enable the users to use the corresponding bank accounts and perform few transactions (retrieval of statements, debit transfers).

Navigation

The following is the navigation for this option:

• Click the Account Aggregation – Register Other Bank Account hyperlink in the New Requests screen.

OR

• Click  Register Other Bank Account  in View Other bank accounts screen (Under Balance & Transaction Information < Other Bank Accounts).

• The Register Other Bank Account  screen is displayed.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data that must be specified on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Field

Description

Other Bank Account

Specify the account ID of the other bank that has to be registered.

Nickname

Specify the account nickname for the account ID that has to be registered.

Account Type

Select the type of account that has to be registered from the drop-down list, like, Savings or Current account.

Currency

Select the currency of the account from the drop-down list.

Registration Purpose

Select the purpose of registration from the drop-down list.

Valid Values:

 Retrieval of Statements

 Initiation of Debit transfers

Both.

Find Bank

Click on this link to get the list of banks. Select the appropriate bank after providing values in the selection criteria to which the registered account belongs to.

Note:

This link will take the users to a screen where user is given search criteria to select the appropriate bank. Choosing a bank will automatically fill the details of the bank like Bank Name, Branch, Address, City & Postal Code, and Country details on Register Other Bank Account page.

Account Owner

Indicate if the account is owned by Self or Other Party. Select Self radio button if the account is self owned. Select Other Party radio button if the account is held by a different party.

Note:

If Other party is chosen then, Name, Address 1-3 is mandatory.

Debit Service Charge Account

Select the debit account id for service charge.

Note:

If user does not select debit service charge account id from the drop-down list then, his/her primary account would be considered for the same purpose.
