Retail Online Vault

Introduction

Customer in branch banking can avail the service of ‘safe deposit vaults’ provided with some fee. Bank will assign a physical locker of a particular predefined size, where customer can place his/her valuables, to which none other than the customer will have the access. Same way in Finacle e-banking, customers can avail the facility of online vault. Here bank assigns a predefined size of server space per customer. Customer can access this vault for uploading and retrieving the documents, to which customer will only have the access.

Objectives

The user must be able to achieve the following:

  • To enable the reader to understand the administration level activities related to Online Vault.

  • To enable the reader to perform various functions related to Online Vault with respect to retail users.

Features

The following are the features, of the Online Vault module:

  • Uploading the files in to online vault

  • Creation of new folders

  • Renaming of existing folders/files

  • Movement of files from one folder to the other

  • Deletion of files and folders

  • Setting alerts for usage of the available vault space.

Audience

This manual is meant for the retail customers of the bank. This manual also helps the bank users to set up the module and monitor the same to ensure its efficient functioning.
