Introduction

This section outlines the procedure to set up other parameters to enable the Trade Finance functionality.

Features

The administrator creates the following service requests for Trade Finance.

• Standard Text Maintenance

  Introduction	The standard template for Goods Description, Documents required, Additional Conditions and Guarantees in LC are maintained under standard Text maintenance.
  Corporate User Navigation:	Trade Standard Text Maintenance under Transaction Support section of Administration function.
  Bank User Navigation:	Standard Text Maintenance under Trade Administration section of Corporate Administration.
  	Note: Corporate Administrator and Bank User can maintain the standard text for LC Documents, LC Conditions, LC Goods, and Guarantee Text. Search, Create, View, Modify, Delete & Delete multiple options are possible on the records based on user type They can approve, reject, and recall the standard text records.
  	The following details are maintained in the template:

   

  Field	Description
  Text Type	Mandatory Alphanumeric / 3 Drop-down Select the type of standard text Valid Values: Select - Default LC Documents LC Conditions LC Goods Guarantee Text Note:  In search/view screens ‘ALL’ will replace the value ‘Select’ available in create screen. This field is part of search criteria also while retrieving existing records.
  Text Name	Mandatory Alphanumeric / 35 Enter the name of the standard text. Note: This field is part of search criteria also while retrieving existing records.
  Standard Text	Mandatory Alphanumeric / 400*65 Enter the standard text description. Only SWIFT characters configured by bank can be entered in this box.

• Maintenance of Ports

  Introduction	The various Airports/Shipping Ports/Port countries in which the corporate is doing trade are maintained in Port Maintenance. The bank user maintains the ports.
  Navigation	Click Port Maintenance under Trade Administration section of Corporate Administration screen. The Maintenance of Ports screen is displayed.
  	Note: Search, Create, View, Modify, Delete & Delete multiple options are options available for the bank user The approver can approve, reject, and recall the records.
  	The following details are maintained for a port in this section

   

  Field	Description
  Port Name	Mandatory Alphanumeric / 70 Enter the name of the port. Note: This field is part of search criteria while retrieving existing records.
  Port Country	Mandatory Alphanumeric / 35 Drop-down Select the country where the port exists. Note: This field is part of search criteria while retrieving existing records.
